Service Reductions & Fare Increases Necessary
With the State’s elimination of Redevelopment Agencies, the financial support for the Downtown-Waterfront Shuttle, the Crosstown Shuttle, and the Commuter Lot Shuttle services that the City of Santa Barbara has provided for many years is no longer available. Seaside Shuttle fares have been increased as well.
Service Reductions & Fare Increases Likely
The State’s elimination of Redevelopment Agencies jeopardizes the financial support for our shuttle services that the City of Santa Barbara has provided for many years. Without this funding, MTD will find it necessary to reduce or eliminate some services & raise fares on others.
