How To Ride

1. 

   Look at the System Map to determine which line(s) you want to use.

2. 

   Use this website or MTD's printed Schedule Guide to find your bus stops and learn what times the bus will be there.

3. 

   Pay attention to directions and dates! Schedules change on weekends and holidays. Some routes are also affected by school schedules. Please see Holiday & School Service for more information.

4. 

   If you need more than one bus to reach your destination, ask the driver for a FREE transfer when you pay your fare.

5. 

   Each bus has large signs showing its destination on the front and on the side next to the front door.

6. 

   Buses stop wherever you see MTD signs. While waiting for the bus, please stand back from the edge of the curb.

7. 

   Be sure you have the exact fare ready when you board. Drivers cannot give you change.

8. 

   When you are about one block from your destination, sound the chime by pulling the overhead cord. Remain seated until the bus has come to a complete stop.

9.
