With Amtrak’s expanded commuter service starting on May 4, 2026, MTD is offering coordinated shuttle routes that meet arriving trains and provide convenient service to key locations in Goleta and Santa Barbara. You can also ride free on connecting MTD buses with your valid train ticket or pass.

Yes, if you have a valid train ticket or pass for that day, you can show it and ride any MTD bus for free that same day, including these shuttles.
