SANTA BARBARA—A majority of Santa Barbara MTD Bus Operators and Operations Supervisors employees represented by Teamsters Local 186 (Teamsters) bargaining units have voted to support a tentative agreement on a new three-year collective bargaining agreement.
The three-year agreement includes increased wages and benefits, providing for a cumulative 11.25% wage increase over 36 months.
An agreement with the unit representing maintenance personnel was ratified earlier in August.
The Board of Directors will vote on the agreement at the regular board meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2025
